Today we went to the Jen's doctor for her ultrasound. I've been sworn to secrecy on the exact due date but I think I'm free to say the baby should be ready to pop out sometime before Christmas and after Thanksgiving. I would probably say what the date is but I think I will spare myself the anguish of an annoyed wife. Guess I'm just PW.
We are very excited about knowing whether or not the baby was healthy and he or she is healthy. Originally, we were concerned because of a perscription Jen was taking at conception.
Got a scare at the beginning of the pregnancy but were praying that everything would be fine for our little boy or girl. I say he or she because we thought it might be fun to find out what sex the baby is the old fashioned way. Not that we aren't dying to know whether its a boy or a girl, just that we're going with uncertainty. We know the baby is healthy so that is a huge relief.
We mentioned to the Tech to warn us when the gender part of the ultrasound was coming so we could keep ourselves blissfully ignorant. But I have to say that I was very conflicted at that moment. Kindof like being a teenage boy again wanting to look but knowing it conflicted with my other goals. HA HA. In the end self-restraint triumphed and I didn't look. So for now we need to come up with two names, one if our baby is a boy and another if our baby is a girl.
We may even end up using the name Remington after all.
